What are we all thankful for...of course our family and friends. We got together at my mom and dad's house for Thanksgiving and it was a blast. We missed my oldest brother and his family they were spending time up north with his wife's family and the next day left for a 10 day cruise....so not fair. I wish that's what I was doing right now. The rest of the family was there, with the extra added bonus of Grandma Tink and my aunt and uncle and a few family friends.
It really does make you thankful that you are close to family when you see there are so many others that don't have family around at all.
Harvey is still working, and we are trying to save up some money to start our own business. Hopefully it will take off and we won't have to worry about having jobs anymore. With a lot of hard work and long hours I am sure that it will. We are both dedicated to making it work.
Christmas is coming and there is still so much to be done. I have 3 quilts to finish and not enough time to finish them. I might be able to beg some help off my mom, but she is so busy too. I hope that everyone can have a merry and bright christmas no matter what. Hopefully this year I can remember to take pic's too and then I can figure out how to upload them here....

On the blog wagon...
Finally I am jumping on the blog bandwagon. What is the big deal about blogging anyway? I figure that if friends of mine who have 3+ kids can keep up why can't I have one too. Since all I have are two dogs and a bunny, I am certain I can find time to share the day to day fun of our lives with our friends.
Harvey is working out of town these days and it is really hard having him gone all the time. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I am ever so grateful that he has a job. There are so many friends and family members that have been laid off and are struggling that I count the blessings of his income everyday. We have been trying for 3 years to pay off some credit card debt and the count down is on. We only have 9 more months and we will be officially free of our stupid choices from years ago! I can hardly wait, that extra money every month will really relieve a lot of stress on the finances.
I talked to my friend Kristin last night. I hadn't seen her in months, it is always great to catch up. It is really because of her that I decided to start this. I checked her blog out and thought, Hey I should do that too. What a fun way to keep in touch with everyone. I am sure that there will be pictures to follow and fun adventures to keep up with, and sometimes I will be the boring 30 year old that likes to sit at home and quilt. Ü
