Life is so busy, Harvey is still looking for a job. It is so hard to find anything right now. We are struggling but will hopefully get through it all. I hope really that we don't have to move.
I really like this pattern, Next time I will make it much bigger.
Attic Windows
This is my first attempt at attic windows but I do it the cheating way. It's just a small throw size but I love the optical illusion of it.
Dragon Fly Heaven
This is a quilt that I made for my sweet cousin Jenn, she had to have brain surgery earlier this year and I couldn't be there. So I sent her this quilt to wrap up in, and then I put some love in it too so it would be like a hug from me. :) Cheesy I know!!! I think that she really liked it though.
Pink & Boxy
All Boxed Up
Seeing Stars
One of my favorite quilts to date. When I finish this one I will be keeping it for myself. :)
Swirls
This was an unplanned look. I started to make a log cabin block and it ended up looking like swirls so I just kept going. :)
Log Cabins. . .
One of my first attempts at a log cabin quilt. I really like the look of it, but again it is still just a quilt top. Unfinished, because I am a procrastinator!
Teddy and Dasher the two best dogs in the entire world
Under the sea. . .
One of My Favorite Scrap Quilts
Quilt
This is a quilt that I made last year for a very dear friend of mine. She is a school teacher, and there was a little girl in her class that was killed in a car accident. All of her classmates drew pictures on the fabric blocks and I did the finish work. Then Christi gave it to her family. It turned out better that I ever imagined and the family loved it. It made me feel great to be able to help with this project. Christi said that it really helped the kids deal with their grief as well.
I am happily married to a wonderful guy. I love to spend time with Harvey and I love to quilt. I wanted to keep a journal, but typing is so much easier and this way we can share our lives with our friends.
our back yard is always open =) lol. I hope he finds something soon. Keep your head up, it could always be worse.
